In 2006 Caber developed an innovative technological iodine protection process that guarantees a constant ionic iodine content over time.
Presal® protected iodine is guaranteed over time and resists processing, technological processes, seasoning and cooking, even at high frying temperatures, without dispersion, with a constant and guaranteed ionic iodine content throughout the shelf life of the products.
Presal® iodine is also assimilated when used as an ingredient (published clinical studies).

Ministry of Health
In 2005 the Ministry of Health promulgated the law on provisions aimed at the prevention of thyroid pathologies through the use of iodine-enriched food salt intended for direct consumption or used as an ingredient in the preparation and storage of products.
